"After hearing a radio plea during the Gulf War in 1991
to send mail to our military personnel, I began a letter writing
campaign involving my businesses and customers.
Two years ago, I decided our troops who were being deployed
to the Middle East, could use a morale boost so I founded Valentines
For Troops, a mail campaign designed to send as many Valentines
as possible overseas to our men and women in the Armed Services.
The first year we collected and distributed over 100,000 Valentines.

I began doing several radio interviews each day in many major
markets like New York, Dallas, Chicago and Los Angeles. I received
calls and had my story appear in the Washington Times, LA Times,
and New York Times and in hundreds of newspapers across the
U.S.
I made television appearances on ABC's World News Tonight with
Peter Jennings, CNN, the Today Show, and others which were carried
by many local affiliates.
We collected and distributed over 1,100,000 Valentines to our
Troops this year all because of the connections made through
the Majon.com news release. For only a few hundred dollars,
I received exposure in the media that would have cost millions
of dollars. Majon.com has the contacts and those contacts responded

I know tens of thousands of our troops overseas had smiles on
their faces after receiving Valentines from home. While I was

Early this year, I founded the Armed Forces Children's Education
Fund (AFCEF), a 501c 3 non-profit corporation, which will provide
college funds to the children of those soldiers who were killed

announcing the creation of AFCEF which will hopefully help us
to raise money that can be given to the children of the fallen
soldiers who made need financial assistance with college funds.
